Made using traditional techniques, our fruit butter is created using a variety of estate-grown apples and pears harvested in September. Our dedicated chefs put the fruit through a lengthy process of pressing, boiling, simmering and thickening in order to produce a concentrated sauce. Ideal as a spread, it is delicious with bread or pancakes, but also makes a flavourful base for sauces and stews, including Limburg “Zuurvlees” and is great as a dip for cheeses and sausages.
